Here For The Championship

On a fateful day, much like your ordinary day, the band came together for the first time in what is now their practice space: Club Teddy. The four boys never would've imagined they would be sitting in that room together. Rewind two years. At that point, Mike Varrone and Steve Ibanez had been in the band First Impression, wowing fans with their covers of Sweet Child O' Mine and Vindicated. However, they were never productive and kinda sucked anyways. Now let's take a glimpse at the world of the East Coast Rivals. Rich Ellis and Nick Tornatore were sucking equally as bad by covering the likes of Creed lol. These bands were rivals back in the 8th grade and hated each other's guts. One day, Rich and Nick, finally took the step to defeat their rivals. They called up the guitar wizard known as Mike Varrone to join the band, who immediately back stabbed his own band. First Impression disbanded a week later, leaving the rest of the former bandmates bandless. Blame it on luck, but the next week, former First Impression member Steve Ibanez walked into Club Teddy with his bass, expecting a carefree jam. Little did he know, Rich and Mike were already jamming. That was the day the last member of New Year Premiere was finally recruited. We've gone a long way since then, from covering Creed lol, to playing shows with Anarbor, Weatherstar, The Bigger Lights, and To Write A Riot. And they will only go forward from there.
